Understanding the Problem
Personas
Firstly, I broke down the problem into smaller pieces to better grasp the solution. Understanding it made it easier to come up with an answer suitable for the needs.
The scope describes two types of users:

In my solution, I considered the perspective of admins managing 3rd party engineers conducting routine checkups, as well as admins overseeing internal engineers providing more specific and direct support.
Complexity
I also considered the complexity of what the admin will face in their workflows. Gathering this information is extracted from the scope and will also be taken from further usability testing.
Usability
Not all features are created and used equally. Admins have different types of jobs in the system, and they need to have their tools handed to them optimally and easily.
Research
At this point, before coming up with the design, I researched how things are done on different platforms that have similar problems to what we face now. Here is how I will seek answers most of the time:
Kisi is a cloud-based system offering access restrictions, remote global management, mobile access, automated provisioning, lockdown features, video surveillance integrations, and more.

UX case study
Redesigning dashboard for security compliance management — A UX case study
- Suruchi presents how and why he redesigned the platform.
- He drills down different weak points in their management dashboard.
- He introduced his newly designed screens and explained why he designed the tools in such ways.

Diagram
I started playing with the design, considering what I have learnet. In this case, I demonstrated two admin flows that present the two main cases we want to cover. Both wireframes will eventually lead to the same dashboard.
